Jennifer Love Hewitt to Play Rape Victim on Law & Order: Svu

She's played the girlfriend of an alcoholic and a woman with super, ghost-whispering powers.

But Jennifer Love Hewitt is primed for the most serious role of her career: a rape victim on Law & Order: Svu.

The actress will guest star on the September 29 episode of this NBC drama, playing a character "named Vicki who has been raped multiple times and is afraid to leave her house," producer Neal Baer told TV Guide.

"One of the reasons we wanted to do this episode is because it addresses Mariska Hargitay's passion for rape kits, which can help gather evidence to convict the rapists. But for some reason these kits have been sitting around unopened in cities all over the country."

Expect this episode to receive more promotion than usual because it will serve as the lead-in for the premiere of Law & Order: Los Angeles.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Talks about Her New Movie The Client List Read more at Suite101: Jennifer Love Hewitt Talks about Her New Movie The Client List

Jennifer Love Hewitt recently spoke to journalists about her new Lifetime original movie, The Client List.

In a telephone conference July 8, 2010, Jennifer Love Hewitt related to journalists how happy she is about the final outcome of the film, The Client List, which premiers on Lifetime on Monday, July 19, 2010. In the film Jennifer plays a Texas mother of three who takes a job as a prostitute in order to save her home and feed her children. Hewitt said she could not have played this role when she was younger. It is her maturity that helped her with the part.

The Sexy Side of Jennifer Love Hewitt

In the film Jennifer is often seen in lingerie and high heels and she admitted that she did not spend time in the gym getting her body in shape for the role. She said it was better that she not look like a buffed actress but a normal working woman/mother. She did, however, take pole dancing lessons to release her inner sexuality. Laughing, she joked she was often bruised and strained after pole dancing.

The Client List Original TV Movie

Jennifer Love Hewitt enjoyed working with the cast, which included Cybill Shepherd as her mother and Teddy Sears as her husband. Hewitt admitted she adored Shepherd and remains in contact with her. During filming, they would often get together at the hotel where they were staying and over a glass of wine share stories and reminisce about their day. She calls Shepherd an “angel.”

The story deals with some pretty adult subjects and when asked if the three children who play her kids in the film actually knew what the subject of the movie was about, Jennifer laughed and said they really didn’t. She admitted that they would ask her questions, but she was not prepared to explain the prostitution business to them. They knew that her character was doing something that was not too good, but that’s as far as their knowledge went.

As far as her career and her future, Jennifer said she is a lucky woman. She has been able to follow her chosen career path with great success and does not see any end to it in the near future. She is looking for something lighter to do next, like perhaps a sitcom. She thinks that would be a fun change of pace from her last several projects.

Hewitt said the theme of the film, doing what you can to keep your family going, is especially important in these tough economic times. The Client List is a deeply emotional film which Jennifer took to heart. The tears she shed in the movie are real, and she decided not to have her makeup retouched after crying. This gave her character more reality. To say she is proud of the film is an understatement.

Also on Suite101

This film shows the lengths of what one woman goes through to keep her home and feed her family.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is not only the star of The Client List, but she is also an executive producer of the film. On premier night she has invited all the other actors who played her fellow “workers” on the show to come out to Los Angeles, dress in their favorite prostitution lingerie, drink champagne and watch the movie together.

The Client List premiers Monday, July 19, 2010 at 9 pm ET/PT on Lifetime.

Hottie Friday : Jennifer Love Hewitt

jennifer-love-hewitt-16

The more I do these Hottie Friday posts the more I realize that my sense of hot is shared by many. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking yeah sure Slym, right. We all know that you go out and browse hot lists and then make your selection. And to that I say, "You could not be more wrong!" Hell I love women, I adore women, I admire women, I love to appreciate the beauty of the marvel that is woman, I build shrines to these women. Heck I started this blog to celebrate women in all their splendor and beauty.

jennifer-love-hewitt-39

jennifer-love-hewitt-233

jennifer-love-hewitt-229

OK, so where am I going with all this? What the hell am I going on about? Who the heck stepped on my toes? Well, no one. I said all of the above because I have discovered that the women I choose all happen to end up on some hot list or another when I go out and do my background checks. So I guess in a way I just wanted to clear the air. Don't you go pointing your fingers at me and accusing me of cheating just because I know hot and sexy when I see it.

jennifer-love-hewitt-106

jennifer-love-hewitt-129

jennifer-love-hewitt-130

Any who on with this week's hottie. I like her. I like her a lot. I like her demeanor. I like her style. She's cute. She's got this girl-next-door way about her yet you know that underneath it that she can step out of it all and show you her attractive, irresistible, provocative, alluring side.

jennifer-love-hewitt-81

jennifer-love-hewitt-87

jennifer-love-hewitt-93

And then she can even step out of that and turn it up a notch and just get to the raw, raunchy, sexy, hot, I-will-make-you-say-my-name side of it all. Yeah, she can do all that and probably then some.

You know what, just go ahead and judge for yourself. Feast your eyes on all the 'sides' of Miss Hewitt. And you know what, she's talented too. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind either. She's not even afraid to tell the paparazzi, magazines and other media to go take a hike (up to the top of Mount Everest).

Jennifer-Hewitt-25780 Washington, Oct 19 : Jennifer Love Hewitt has rubbished rumours of an impending break up with flameJamie Kennedy.

Defying all speculation of a possible split, last weekend the 30-year-old Hewitt attended the Children’s Institute Hosts Poker for a Cause in Commerce, California, with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy to help her Ghost Whisperer co-star Camryn Manheim’s charity.

At the event, she told People mag: "I''m not going to lie – it''s not annoying, it''s hurtful.

"It''s really hurtful that people say that… Because he is like the most awesome person."

Hewitt added: "I really hate that people would make it seem like he''s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well.

"We are just trying to be really happy…. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there."

And Kennedy too did not miss the opportunity to express himself.

He said: "I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much."

A recent report had kicked off gossip suggested that the 39-year-old Kennedy still had feelings for an ex even as he was dating Hewitt,

Editorial Reviews
Amazon.com

Ghost Whisperer is not a show for cynics (or anyone who hates everything with the word "whisperer" attached to it). Though half of the show aims to make your flesh creep, the other half works just as hard to make everything warm and fuzzy. Ghosts walk into Melinda Gordon's life the way snappy dames walked into Sam Spade's office, hitting her up for aid with a hard-luck story and a whole lot of strings attached. Her job is to help th
em untie the emotional knot that's keeping them earthbound--which usually involves, in one way or another, telling a still-living friend or relative how much the dead person loved them. Whether it's a Vietnam vet who never met his son, a standup comedian who committed suicide, a bride who died on her big day, or a poltergeist child, in the end Melinda--assisted by her hunky paramedic husband Jim and vaguely useless best friend Andrea--will find a way to lead them to the light. (Ghost Whisperer is evasive about its theological implications, but Melinda's black-hatted nemesis from the season's end has a distinctly devilish air.)

Keeping a foot in both worlds as Melinda is Jennifer Love Hewitt (Party of Five, Garfield), an actress who doesn't seem entirely natural; between her cartoonish physical dimension (the show isn't shy about displaying her bosom), her fake eyelashes, and the seemingly molded contours of her face, she's like a life-sized doll. Unfortunately, this quality lends a similarly plastic feel to her telegenic smile and earnest looks of compassion. The scripts are strictly middle-of-the-road tv fare, with obvious turns of plot and heavy-handed emotional crises, but the special effects conjure some eeriness. Extras include docs on the show's development, the lovely opening credits (based on the art of Maggie Taylor), and the paranormal investigators whose work inspired the show, along with a handful of episode commentaries and deleted scenes. Fans will not feel cheated. --Bret Fetzer

Product Description ghost-whisperer-spirit-guide
Ever since she was a young girl, Melinda Gordon
(Jennifer Love Hewitt) has been able to see and talk to dead people--earth bound spirits who have yet to cross over to the other side and who seek her help in communicating and resolving unfinished business with the living. Melinda sometimes has a hard time accepting her "gift," especially now that she's a newlywed and looking forward to starting her new life with her husband, Jim Clancy (David Conrad), a paramedic. Her friend and business partner in the antique store, Andrea Moreno (Aisha Tyler), is fascinated by Melinda's talent. Although Melinda embraces her unique "abilities" as a blessing and sometimes a curse, she always helps her clients--alive or dead--find emotional closure.

My Friday night guilty pleasure
By J. Miller "Gotmywings2001"
OK, I will admit to watching this for the lovely Jennifer Love Hewitt, having followed her career since Party of Five and several movies of varying quality. And when I first read that she would be returning to television in a series with this story I was, to put it mildly, not encouraged. But I have to admit this is quite a good show. Yes, the concept is similar to NBC's Medium but crossed with CBS' Touched by an Angel. So yes, it's a little corny at times. It's probably aimed at an older demographic being on CBS. But that doesn't detract from it being rather good, in that "tell me a spooky story" mode like the old Twilight Zone shows were at times. Jennifer plays Melinda Gordon, recently married, now a small business owner in the town of Grandview (state unknown, but aren't all TV small towns like that?) who has held a particular ability since childhood, the ability to communicate with the dead. She "sees" them and is sought out by them to help them make their final journeys into the afterlife. Or "crossover" as it's been termed. But before they can, they all have unfinished business with their loved ones. Usually, it's the circumstances behind their deaths that lead them to Melinda. So "the dead" range from an M.I.A. soldier wishing to tell his now grown son the details of his disappearance, to a wrongly executed artist, to a 9 year old boy trying to tell his mother his death was not her fault. Naturally those she encounters are all skeptical, even hostile at times. But even she admits it's not easy having this ability, at times she wishes she didn't have it. With each episode we learn a little more about her and her abilities with the undead. Like the fact her own mother has the same abilities but has tried to suppress them all her life and has had to deal with the guilt that entails. And all this leads up to the first season finale when she must deal with the victims of a plane crash and the multiple "crossings" that must occur, and the sudden twist to this story that served as the first season cliffhanger. So far, there's no details on extra features, if any, here. But I would hope we'll get some episode commentaries, particularly from the show's creator as well as Ms. Jennifer. She was featured on the commentary track for her film "Heartbreakers" and proved to be a great storyteller on that film. I'm sure she'd be just as informative on this series. As I said, this show is a guilty pleasure for me. Jennifer is beautiful to look at here; she can play strong, yet vulnerable characters. If you're looking for paranormal crime solvers, you're probably meant for Medium. But if you'd like a Friday night show to chill out with and end your week with, check out Ghost Whisperer.

Disney Channel

Disney Channel is an American television channel specializing in television programming for children through original series and movies as well as third party programming. It is marketed to mostly children; however, in recent years the diversity of viewers has increased with an older audience. Presently available on basic cable and satellite television, Disney Channel is part of Disney-ABC Cable Networks Group, a division of The Walt Disney Company. The network is based in Burbank, California U.S.A. The channel runs a website, DisneyChannel.com. Disney Channel began broadcasting in high-definition on April 2, 2008. The HD version is carried on many cable systems as well as both DirecTV and Dish Network.
The Disney Channel's first broadcasting day aired on April 20, 1983. At this time, Disney Channel was a premium channel and only aired 18 hours a day. The program that kicked off the channel's first day on the air was an episode of the 1950s-era Mickey Mouse Club. The first produced Disney Channel Series shown on the network included Good Morning, Mickey!, Donald Duck Presents, Contraption, Dumbo's Circus, You and Me Kid, EPCOT Magazine and Welcome to Pooh Corner. The original late night schedule featured reruns of the classic The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet; more of them are included in Disney Channel Original Series. Disney Channel received a special citation from the United States president Ronald Reagan in 1984. From the inception, Disney Channel only aired from 600a.m. to 1200a.m. midnight In December 1986, Disney Channel commenced full time broadcasting 24 hours everyday. During the early years, Disney Channel aired several foreign animated series and movies including Asterix, The Raccoons, and Paddington Bear. The Australian western, Five Mile Creek, was shown during this time period also.
During the 1980s, the channel debuted a few programs that later became part of the cultural lexicon of sorts. Early on, in 1984, the musically-oriented sitcom Kids Incorporated became a hit, about a pre-teen (and later teen-to-young adult) gang of friends who formed a pop group, mixing their everyday situations with variety-show and music video style performances. During its nine year run, the series spawned many future stars in both music and acting, the most notable being Martika (who went by her real name of Marta Marrero in the show's first season), eventual Party of Five co-stars Scott Wolf and Jennifer Love Hewitt (billed as Love Hewitt) and Stacy Ferguson Fergie's real name).
In early 1989, The Disney Channel revived one of the empire's early TV staples with The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, which was an immediate hit and proved the basic Disney variety show formula could still work, unlike in the short-lived 1970s revival. The latest version contained many of the classic elements, from "theme days" to mouseketeer jackets (albeit updated), but the scripted and musical segments were hip. MMC was just as blessed with a stellar young cast, launching more careers of today's big stars than the shows previously mentioned; Christina Aguilera, JC Chasez, Ryan Gosling, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake, are just a few of the many "mice that soared".

Top 3 Beauty Tips to Look Like a Movie Star

jennifer love hewittBecoming the perfect personification of beauty is almost… nearly… not, truly it's impossible, and even movie stars know that. The key to really looking gorgeous is not to become perfect, but rather to highlight your already-there assets. I mean, what would this world be like if J-Lo didn't stand up for her impressive back side? What about Angelina Jolie's famous plump lips and Tyra Banks' large doe-eyes - can we really live without those? Recently, even the celebs themselves are taking up a more positive stance in regards to beauty. Actresses like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Keira Knightley have spoken up for maintaining their natural beauty despite what Hollywood may consider as flaws to the perfect image.
Saying thus, here are the 3 top beauty tips on how to achieve that Hollywood-esque glamour, without drastically changing your look.

  1. Most beauty tips start from within, and so will this one. But no, we are not talking about personalities just yet. We mean that you have to take careful consideration of the food you put inside your system. We are not asking you to ditch food entirely so that you could fit into the near impossible size "0." After all, Drew Barrymore and America Ferrera are 2 actresses who look G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S even though they are not in that category.
Rather, we want you to look at food as an ally to achieving beauty. For example, completely eliminating fats in your diet will only make your hair, nails and skin look sallow, dull and brittle.
One of the best skin care tips we can give you then is to go on an appropriate diet. And when we say appropriate diet, we mean a diet that is approved by doctors, dieticians and / or nutritionists. Not all diets are applicable to all body types, you know. An appropriate diet can help you lose or gain pounds (whatever your body needs,) and at the same time, give you that lustrous glow that only comes from being healthy from within.

  2. If you want to know some healthy hair secrets, you could also ask the health professional what natural ingredients you could use to enhance you hair type. Eggs and olive oil are great as moisturizers, but there are other botanicals you could use.
As for hair styles and hair colors, one of the biggest mistakes you could do is to do your own hair. It may sound strange, but if you want to capture that Hollywood-esque glam, let the pros handle it. Ask your hairdresser what hair style will accentuate parts of your face that you like. If you have those really gorgeous eyes, (brilliant irises, or a large wide-awake pair,) hiding them underneath loads of bangs will diminish your beauty.
Jennifer Aniston for example, accentuates her sleek, chiseled jaws and slanted cheekbones with her definitive layered locks with the sun-kissed highlights. On the other hand, drastic changes can also be beneficial. Pop sensation Rihanna, continues to make waves with her suddenly short do.

  3. As far as make up tips are concerned, the mantra now is light and glowing. Gone are the days when dramatic heavy-lidded eyes and overly rouged cheeks are considered a la mode. If you want make-up that can hide flaws (like dark rings around the eyes,) you could try some base concealers, and then go for mineral-based make-up instead like foundations and blushes.

This simple combo will not only hide undesirable spots, but it can give you that flawless, vibrant look. Just remember to apply the same to your neck area to complete the look.

Why Jennifer Love Hewitt And David Cameron Have Blogs - And Why You Should Too

Jennifer Love Hewitt Nakedby Smith Frasier
What does the UK shadow Prime Minister David Cameron have in common with Jennifer Love Hewitt? The answer of course is that they both have their own blogs (and in case you wondered, David's one is technically better, though Jen's one is nicer to look at). In case you've not got your own blog set-up as yet, somehow and someway...you'd better start thinking about it.
1. Blogs Continue To Grow From Strength To Strength - And Here's Why... There's a couple of really simple reasons why blogs have grown so strongly over the past few years (to an estimated 150 million worldwide). Once you get past the installation, configuration and set-up (which, no matter what the marketers selling blog-courses tell you, still requires skill and knowhow to get right)...it's EASY to use blogs to build your business. Blogs have a simple WYSIWYG editor which allows anyone to have their own web presence, and add content to the web regularly and with minimum technical skills. With websites it's not quite as simple - for example, even with the best of HTML editors you need a little html knowledge, and you need to know how to FTP to server and all that. Once your blog is set-up and configured (this is where you need a fair bit of technical skill), getting pages online is as easy as falling off a log. Secondly, you can do some amazing things with blogs once you learn the fundamentals - such as which are the best plugins, and how to install them. You can add in your own videos, audios, tools...and everything in between.
2. The Advantages Of Owning A Blog From A Business Perspective A blog gives you a sound infrastructure from which to promote your own and your affiliate products. Let me be frank - if you're David Cameronserious about generating product sales and affiliate commissions, you NEED a dedicated site to show people that you're a serious and credible online business person. I cannot stress enough, that means having your OWN domain name, and your own blog or website. The reason you cannot seriously host a blog at wordpress or blogger is quite obvious - firstly, it's a security risk (people HAVE lost their blogs and all the content within on these external servers for a myriad of reasons). And with equal weighting, a blog hosted on blogger or wordpress screams "amateur". And, like it or not, no one wants to do business with an amateur. It's got to be your own domain. As a side-note, If you're online enough, you'll see a lot of rubbish being promoted that promise newbies false dawns such as "yes - you CAN make a fortune without a website or an opt in list or any arms and legs...blah blah". It's tripe. In the long run you need your own web presence, and don't let anyone con you into thinking anything else. And a blog fits that bill perfectly. Let's take last week as an example. We saw Mike Filsaime launch his Traffic Fusion thingy - and his minions who promoted the program scarpered off with commissions worth over seven hundred bucks per sale. You know I did not promote it, and we wont go into why (see my blog if you're itching to know) - but the point is you can bet that everyone who made those large commissions on that launch had their own blog or website. To the victor belong the spoils, and as a blog owner, you really are the victor. If you're new online, then a blog is an ideal starting point to get a web presence. I mean come on, both David Cameron and Jennifer Love Hewitt can't be wrong. ------------------------------------------------

Her first break came as a child actor on the Disney Channel variety show Kids Incorporated (1989–1991), where she was credited as just Love Hewitt. During this time she danced in and sang all the songs for a live action video called Dance! Workout With Barbie released by Buena Vista.
In 1993, she played Pierce Brosnan's daughter in a pilot for NBC called Running Wilde, which featured Brosnan as a reporter for Auto World magazine whose stories cover his own wild auto adventures. However, the series wasn't picked up and the pilot never aired. Hewitt later had roles in several short-lived television series, such as Fox's Shaky Ground (1992–1993), ABC's The Byrds of Paradise (1994), and McKenna (1994–1995), and finally became a young star after landing the role of Sarah Reeves on the popular Fox Television show Party of Five (1995–1999). She assumed the role of Sarah after joining that show during its second season and continued it on the short-lived Party of Five spin-off, Time of Your Life (1999), which she also co-produced. The show was cancelled after only half a season.
Jennifer Love Hewitt made her film debut in the independent film Munchie (1992). She became a film star after a lead role in the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), which enjoyed great box-office success (125,000,000 U.S. dollars worldwide). The film made Jennifer Love Hewitt and her co-stars Freddie Prinze Jr., Ryan Phillippe, and Sarah Michelle Gellar some of the most popular young stars in the USA. She also appeared in the sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), which, though ultimately not as successful as the first film, took in more money on its opening weekend. Other notable film roles have included the high-school comedy Can't Hardly Wait (1998) and a starring role with Sigourney Weaver in the romantic comedy Heartbreakers (2001).
In 2000, Jennifer Love Hewitt appeared in The Audrey Hepburn Story. That same year, she was the "most popular actress on television" due to her Q-rating (a measurement of a celebrity's popularity) of thirty-seven. For that reason, Nokia chose her to become its spokesperson, because of her "fresh image", and her being "a symbol of youthfulness and wholesomeness".

In 2001, she appeared in the music video for the Enrique Iglesias song, "Hero", as the singer's love interest.
Jennifer Love Hewitt wrote "I'm Gonna Love You" for the movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame II because, although she was a well-known singer at the time, her character Madellaine was the only character who didn't sing in the movie. The song won an award for Best Song on DVD Awards.
Since September 2005, Jennifer Love Hewitt has starred in the television series Ghost Whisperer. In Australia, Ghost Whisperer has been popular since its introduction; in the United States, the show averages 9–11 million viewers for each new episode. Jennifer Love Hewitt has also auditioned for many roles. She was asked to play Juliet in Romeo + Juliet, but the director felt she wasn't modern looking. The role went to Claire Danes. She also had to give up the role of Darlene in Brokedown Palace because of scheduling conflicts. Jennifer Love Hewitt also auditioned for the role of Elektra in Daredevil.

Music career
Jennifer Love HewittIn 1991, Meldac funded the recording of Hewitt's first album Love Songs, when she was just 12. The album was only released in Japan in 1992 where Jennifer Love Hewitt became a pop star. Her explanation for her success in Japan is that the Japanese "love perky music. The poppier the music, the better."
After she joined the cast of Party of Five in 1995, she signed to Atlantic Records, who rushed her first single and second album, Let's Go Bang, out in October.
Juggling her music career with her acting career, she recorded her follow-up in 1996. The first single, "No Ordinary Love", failed to chart and led to the album doing the same. Atlantic dropped Hewitt, who didn't return to the music scene for 3 years.
In 1999, she recorded the single "How Do I Deal" for the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack. The song became Hewitt's first charting single by climbing to #59 on the Hot 100 and #36 on the Top 40 Mainstream. It also reached #8 in Australia.
In 2002, Jennifer Love Hewitt signed to Jive Records and recorded her fourth album with singer/songwriter/producer Meredith Brooks. The first single, "BareNaked", became her biggest radio hit to date when it peaked at #24 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, #31 on the Adult Top 40 and #25 on the Top 40 Mainstream. It also climbed to #6 in Australia and #33 in the Netherlands. The moderate success of the single propelled her album of the same name to peak at #37 on the Billboard 200 and #31 in Australia. However, it only remained on the chart for 3 weeks. The second single, "Can I Go Now", failed to chart in the US, while managing to peak at #8 in the Netherlands and #12 in Australia.
Since 2003, Jennifer Love Hewitt hasn't actively done anything in the music industry, but a compilation called Cool with You: The Platinum Collection was released in Asia.
In addition to starring in the 2004 film If Only, Jennifer Love Hewitt also co-wrote and performed two songs for its soundtrack: "Love Will Show You Everything" and "Take My Heart Back".
She also appeared in the 2004 made-for-television musical A Christmas Carol, performing the singing role of Ebenezer Scrooge's fiance Emily.

Personal life
Jennifer Love Hewitt is an honorary godparent of the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund.
Jennifer Love Hewitt began dating Scottish actor Ross McCall in January 2006 after he made an appearance on Ghost Whisperer. In November 2007, while vacationing in Hawaii, the couple became engaged. Paparazzi photographs secretly taken during this vacation show Hewitt with a slightly higher weight than previously and were subsequently criticized by bloggers. Hewitt responded: "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized.... What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles."
She has also dated singer-guitarist John Mayer, talk show host Carson Daly, actor/model Kip Pardue, writer Chris Benson, singer-songwriter Rich Cronin, actor and singer Joey Lawrence, professional kayaker Brad Ludden, and actor Will Friedle.

The Audrey Hepburn Story

The Audrey Hepburn Story was a 2000 television movie biography of actress and humanitarian Audrey Hepburn. Jennifer Love Hewitt, who also produced the film, starred as the actress although her casting drew criticism from some of Hepburn's fans and the media. A pre-stardom Emmy Rossum appears during early scenes of the film playing Hepburn in her early teens.

Plot
The film spans from her early childhood to the 1930's which details her life as a Dutch ballerina, coming to grips with her parents' divorce, and enduring life in the Nazi-occupied Netherlands during World War II. Audrey then settles in the U.S. where she succeeds in making it big as a movie actress, in such movies as Breakfast at Tiffany's.
The closing credits include footage of the real Audrey Hepburn during one of the UNICEF missions she undertook near the end of her life.

Broadcast
Several versions of the film were aired. On the American ABC Network, it aired as a three-hour movie, while in other countries a longer version was broadcast over two nights.
